Ninja Commando: good or bad?

For my next NeoGeo CD game, i want a fast action game and i thinking about Ninja Commando that i could get for 20$

so its a good or a bad game? :help:

Mmmmm .... well it's not the Neo's pinnacle, but I'd say it's worth 20 bones.

NCSX is the place that still sells Ninja Commando for $20

It's an average action game from ADK but I don't mind to spend $20 for new copy :)

I really dig Ninja Commando...but it seems like it's too easy...especially with two players. It may just be that your ninja's are so amazingly overpowered...I don't know. It does rock though, I picked up the CD version from NCS for $15 a long while back...

I like the game, and I figure it would be worth 20$. There isn't much loading (if I remember correctly) as well. ;)

It might be as close to Shocktroopers as you're going to get on a NeoCD. ;)

Yeah, it just loads once, at the beginning, which is nice.

Am still upset that Shock Troopers never made it to CD... :(

Get PS/Saturn Capcom Generation 4 so that you can play MERCS.
It's similar to Shock Troopers but better in gameplay :drool_2:

2 thumbs up on NC man.

I have always loved commando games, and while this may be one of the weaker commando style, its still great, and on the neo geo, get all you can. And hell while you are at it, get Ninja Combat. Its cheep, extra common, and it completes the series.

Music in Ninja Commando is good too, especially the Japan level... it really rocks.

Ninja Commando is a Great! game, I would buy it in a flash. One issue I have a AES system and the game to me isnt worth over 50$, but hey if you got a CD system and its cheap buy it.

Its like a very early version of stock troopers.

The majority of NEO games here aren't worth $50 or especially if you account for how old they are, aren't worth $5. People buy these expensive games knowing that they have a vested amount in them, and that they hold their value over time. I mean, we are crazy to play more than $50 for a game as it is but whether you pay $20, or $1500 for a homecart, knowing that you can sell it for that much in the future makes it possible.

No videogame on the planet is worth more than $100 in my book. (Assuming theoretically that you'd pay the $100 to have a copy and as soon as u open it, its worth $0)

Hmmmm, I don't know, I'd say there are some worth $100, but when it gets into Metal Slug-style *hundreds*(plural), that's when I have to draw the line. ;)
