Hi guys I live in the Uk and have not yet played or seen the latest KOF.

I have just ordered one from this site and as we speak it's on it's way to me.

I was wondering if anyone could post pictures of the stages for me and if there are any good combo clips I could download.

Many thanks

Dave;)

No offense, Dave, but it sounds like you don't know much about the game you're about to buy. ;)

There are no more "rounds", but only just the one. It's three on three tagging now, and there's not a stop in the action when someone's KO'd. It just keeps going.

The BGs are much better than 2k2 (which, in turn, were MUCH better than the god awful 2k1's BGs). IMHO, I would say that 2k3's BGs are the best in the whole series, on an overall scale. The game is much different than the rest of the series. I hated it when it first came out, to be honest. It's a great game, IMO. Then again, you have to love KOF to like this, I think... which, of course, I do.

Hope you like it
Spike

EDIT: By the way, there ARE day/nigh variations in the levels. For instance, if you lose a whole match to somebody, and play again, the next time it may be night or day. There are three levels that have this feature (the desert stage with Kusanagi in it, the temple and the city street stage). The others, while very nice, are just one way.

The KOF 2003 arcadia mook DVD has loads of fantastic combos on it, as well as boss strategies.

The £20 (including postage from Japan) for the mook was worth it for the DVD alone.

To be honest you are right I haven't played this yet.

Over in the Uk Arcades are very scarce now just full of gambling machines or big arcade dedicated cabintes like F355 etc.

It's just died a death and people like ourselves aren't catered for anymore.

It's a real shame hence this id the 1st KOF I just haven't even played or seen.

Thanks for your time guys.

:)

The backgrounds in KOF 2003 I think look better. They show more depth to them, the KOF 2002 don't really do that for me. The train level and the stone street levels are awesome.

You're in Liverpool eh? Even though you're getting the game you should get you arse over to Leeds. There's a dingy arcade near the train station which has KOF 2003 in a cab as well as KOF 2001 which I play against people on sometimes. You're probably sitting pretty with your cart now but if you ever go to Leeds just look out for it. I think the arcade's called Mill Hill amusements and it's right in the back, so there you go :)
