Are you positive? Why is it that on the cart pics page it has only one manual for the Japanese one and two for the US, but on the US pic it's clearly a Japanese book?

Because the Moves book is entirely in japanese!

For the US version too. I have a KOF98 US, it haves both manuals, only the moves list is jap.

I guess all are. smirk

Can anyone else confirm or deny this? I'm tying to make a deal and the person says he does not have the moves book but he says he got it new like that. Is he wrong? I'm not accusing anyone of lying, but maybe someone sold him a copy without a book when he should have gotten one?

I bought a KOF 98 Brand new, it contain the original manual and the extra Artbook.
The extra Artbook is exactly the same as the Japanese version.

The shop owner gives me 2 version(US or JAPAN) to choose on the release date and I choose the US version as I can read the manual.

But now I sold all my US KOF away because of the
Freaked KOF 2000. oh_no
I hate NGF. very_ang

Hopes this help.

I got the US-version back in 98 brand new-it came with both books!
I was so suprised about the extra book,i asked the shop(MARO),and they told me ALL of them came with it!
So,basically...YES,it should be included. :)
