WOAH buddy!
I loooooooove video games. I collect them. The thing I like best about doing what I'm doing it to walk into my storage room and see all of the games. I point them out to my friends and talk about them even tho they really don't give a s***. I tried to convince my girlfriend that owning the Christmas Seaman Dreamcast with the serial number 000/850 makes me feel like something special in the world. My roommate doesn't really care that I have 5 Pure White XBOXs out of 1000 total, but I told him anyway. Buying the Neo Geo Power Draft CD at a local store for $25 brings a smile to my face becasue it was the first time I had seen it in real life and I know that not that many people in the world have it.
You'll notice that none of that stuff is available for sale right now.
I've owned almost every video game system there is. To me, that's what I like the most.
I also sell them. And selling them helps me increase my collection. It also helps me to partially suppport myself by working with video games, something that I love. I made a lot more money selling real estate in America than I do selling video games from Japan. If it's just the money, then I wouldn't be doing it....
Collecting is one thing, but have you ever *worked for* video games? Have you ever been dependent on income from them? Maybe you have, I don't know anything about you....
Here's what I'm working on now:
www.japan-games.com.
You'll notice that there are no sales there, just info.
Pfttt....and you said that I'm not a collector....
I got your point, but I thought I'd add a face (words) to the name.... No hard feelings.
Laters,
Eric
