Something new has been showing up every time I come here. Popups. I really don't care what Neo Geo games are on E-bay right now. If I wanted to know, I'd look it up myself!!! Please disable the damn popups.

Um, dude . . . you have scumware on your machine. The scumware more than likely scans this site for some key word (neo geo for example) and then does a search in a pop-up window.

I suggest downloading the free (and awesome) program Ad-Aware. It will scan your machine and allow you to destroy all scumware cookies and reg edits, etc. Be sure and run the update as well.

Just do search for Ad-Aware or Lavasoft (the programers).

I use Ad-Aware in conjunction with Spy-Bot - Search & Destroy.

You're almost certain to remove all spyware on your computer.

after that It would be a good idea have a complete cleaning up of your registry

spybot works perfectly, It eliminate every spywares, but It does NOT clean registry perfectly

so after you've used spybot use regcleaner 4.3 by Joni Vuorio

And when you're done file a complaint to the FTC (federal trade commission) about GAIN PUBLISHING, the likely source of your scumware probs....tell them you are losing money and time because of their shady business practices.....

get'em sued again, people...c'mon!

I've just been using plain old Netscape with pop-up blocking enabled. Works pretty damn well, I must say. Be careful with that Gator Ware bullshit - that crap is a death sentence.

I use mozilla too.

It's basically netscape slimmed down. No popups, saves all the passwords I need. All around great. Except I can't work some plugins...
