First of all - sorry - I know this is in the wrong forum, but I wanted the most people to see it and I am only going to be in Chicago for this weekend.

I saw the thread that it is at the Black Hole - is it still there? If so, is it still broken?

Are there any other arcades in the Chicagoland area that have KOF 03?

Thanks for the help.

Yes it's still there as of three weeks ago, and yes it was still broken.

There are many other KOFs there but on all of them at least one side was broken.

Sorry.

EDIT: and I don't think there are any other KOF2003 machines around.

Thanks for the help everyone!

Does anyone remember the name of the arcade that had SNK V Capcom when it first came out?

It was something like - Capcom Nickel (sp?) City...and it was in the corner of some little strip mall.

Any thoughts?

Thanks again,

Here's the lineup for Nickel City:

2 Street Fighter III Third Strikes
1 Street Fighter III Second Impact (I think that's the name, right?)
Street Fighter Alpha 3
Marvel vs Capcom
Marvel vs Capcom 2
Guilty Gear XX
Capcom vs SNK 2
Ultimate MK3
Neo Geo with SS4, Fatal Fury 1, King of Monsters 2, and Baseball Stars 2.
A few racing games
2 DDR machines
Beatmania
Dance Maniax
Dungeons and Dragons
Some sports games
Simpsons
Silent Scope
House of the Dead
Time Crisis 2
a few other things I can't think of and a bunch of free games.

It costs 2 dollars to get in
But most games are 10 to 20 cents.

Anyway I'm probably going there tonight if my friends are up to it.

Also broken, C and D don't work on the right player side and the left player joystick sucks.

First of all, Grouch...check your PM. ;)

Yeah - Nickel City was what I was thinking of...It's only 5 minutes from our hotel so I will be stopping in Saturday or Sunday.

The arcade in Rockford has it.

But, I'm talking about my house when I say "arcade". Not very far from Chicago at all.

Yeah, it's sad.

NC's fighting games section has been taken over by Shoryuken.com members. :)

Well anyway, Criterionradiohead, did you stop by Nickel City? I would have highly recommended it if you were only 5 minutes away.
