He's claiming the item is AUTHENTIC and ORIGINAL and even shows pics of the chips.. it'd be pretty disastrous if someone really shelled out $350 for that!!!

yeah, there's a couple of threads he started under the name "NAOMIGDRom" where he swears on a stack that he somehow got an exclusive release of this stuff straight from SNKPlaymore...it's laughable really...

Well, my gut's telling me that it's a boot, but that's one damn fine product he's got there. Maybe it's real? I just don't understand. I'm confused and want answers from anybody other than Japhei.

yea, spike, I know nuts about telling boots from real stuff, but it appears that this particular cart has some experts confused as well!!

If that is indeed a boot, then how much do you think it cost to make that? Is he really making a profit at $350??? It looks like it would cost a pretty penny to make that high quality boot.

The close up pics from inside the cart that is displayed in the auction are from the NGH version of SVCC not the MVS cart.

That's funny. You can see the "A50" pin number screen printing on one of the close-up shots. It's at the bottom left of the M1 rom. That is definately a shot of the home cart.

this may sound silly, but what, just what if, these are a conversion? I know they always talk about conversions saccing a MVS cart to AES, but what if for this once they thought they'd make a mint doing it AES to MVS?

It would explain rather a lot.

No offence, but hello ! This is Japhei you're dealing with here, of course he doesn't sell authentic SNK inventory. He never did and he never will either. There is no such thing as an official SvC MVS cart. And for god sakes, if there would be, do you think this idiot would be the only one selling them ?

If it's a boot, a LOT of work went into making it.

...and winter spots yet another obvious boot.

If you look closely at the pictures you will realize they are not the same pictures. One picture is an obvious boot with a white dot over each chip. The next picture to the bottom right has no white dots.

What they did was take a picture of another board, and possibly mix it in with their board thinking nobody would look.

People, people, people. You have got to get better at spotting these boots!

That is the exact same symbol on the pic as the guy who stole one of Shawns pictures confirmed a day or so ago.
