BIOS Blues

Forgive me for asking a dumb question, but regarding the Debug BIOS, or whatever it's called chip advertised on The Neo Store in Neo Geo.com, can it also allow you to toggle between American and Japaese regions in games? I got a Japanese AES machine, because when I stuck in my USA copy of 3 Count Bout, I got the Japanese name of Fire Suplex. Thanks!!

yes. Easily done with the Debug Bios.

depending on the way I set my AES, my KOF98 starts as "The Slugfest", or as "The Dream Match Never Ends".

It's very cool to be able to toggle back and forth.

Then why does the Debug BIOS section in the Neo Store say it just uses a debug for blood, bouncy and what not? Why doesn't say it also toggles between reigions in addition to all that other stuff? I NEEd a BIOS chip to switch twixt the American and Japanese reigions. I tried to show the Neo Store chip page to my bro, but he didn't believe the Debug BIOS chip could switch reigions, in addition to debug stuff, just act like a gameshark ONLY, so we had a fight over that. PLEASE HELP!!

Supposing I do get a debug BIOS chip, will there be any side effects, and/or complications that could damage the AES system and/or the games, including changing from regions and AES/MVS formats in each game, including using the cheats?
