is it a magic trick? Is he showing the guts of another cart? Or, have boots gotten to be THIS sophisticated and authentic looking? And, if so, why would they bother? If people are cheap and wanna steal, they don't care how "authentic" it is? I'm genuinely confused about this one...can someone with authority put this thing to rest for good? I mean, even if he [theoretically] got them from an SNK "agent" 
then they are as good as bootlegs anyway, as they didn't get pushed through the proper channels, or they did make a small run of carts before finding they had a major bug or something, then halted production...destroyed them...except for what this "agent" stole? I'd love to know the story behind this.

You guys obviously have missed yesterday's thread, in which japhei (he used the name 'NaomiGdrom') wanted some members to help him authentify these (he claimed to have several) kits.
This thread has been locked, japhei banned once again and it seems the thread has been deleted too.
He was asking 580 bucks apiece, now it's 350 on eBay with buy it now. Man, the price is falling quicker than the PCB version's did
Anyway they do look like the real deal, the chips' parts number seem to match and be genuine, but I would not risk my money for one of those.

This looks just as that one that someone was selling in Yahoo Japan and was posted in this forums.
Most probably a boot knowing the reputation of the seller and all the story behind the MVS version of SVC, but still a strange coincidence.... and it looks really nice for being a boot...

These look a little different than the others. Didn't the Yahoo! Japan auction have a label that read, "SVC SNK Vs. Capcom: Chaos?"

I've bought PCB's from this guy in the past, and all have been genuine.
I once had a chat with him and he said he lost alot of money on the PCB's which he had ordered from Japan and sold on ebay. People do not lose money on boots.
Shall I buy it and send it to shawn for verification?

If it was real, Shawn would know it, and Trieu would know it, and neither of these reputable sources confirmed its release, so there's no way this could actually be real. Plus, if you haven't noticed already, Japhei has only half the image of the spine available for examination, which leaves you to wonder what he is hiding in the other half.

It's funny that he can take such great pics of the PCB but such crappy ones of everything else.
I didn't even know he had a camera since most of the time he just uses emulator driven screenshots of the title.

He actually did post some pretty good pics of it two days ago, which I have saved before his thread was deleted.
