Is there a way to actually hit him while transformed?, It's just sooooooo freakin' annoyin' to keep runin' away like a schoolgirl while he's in such instance... LAME!

You can't damage him while he's transformed.

Best thing to do is, jump over him right at the beginning of the 2nd round, wait a half second jump back over the other way and repeat until he changes back to normal. If you have good timing, you won't get hit.
