I thought this had been answered before, but I did a search and didn't find the answer. I'm looking for replacement buttons for Agetec Dreamcast Arcade Sticks. I need at least two, but I wouldn't mind having a few more spares.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, or have some to give up (maybe from a damaged stick?), I'd be very appreciative. If they have the white connectors that would be even better.

Cheers.

$2 sanwa buttons works. There are several different colours, add a spiffy blue and pink one. ;)

Thanks. Will these just "work" or are they identical to the original part? I don't want to have buttons of different sizes. I'm going to replace just some damaged ones, not all of them.

And where can I buy these witout going through a big hassle? I tried to look at arcade-infinity, which didn't even load, and I tried excellentcom.net, but there it seems like you have to pay through a certain bank or some shit like that, which I don't even understand, plus the page took about 2 years to load.

I think you need to make the holes on the agetec slightly bigger for the sanwa buttons to fit. if you have a dremel that will do the trick.

excellentcom is very good, and you can pay with a creditcard. the only problem is shipping is a lot (~ $30), but if you order with a few others then it's not so bad.

why the bump?!

Because I'm still looking for a place to buy them. Your information is much appreciated, but I think paying $30 to have a few buttons shipped is ridiculous.

you can bump all you want, but a new place to buy sanwa sticks from in the US isn't going to pop up

email excellentcom and get a shipping quote on 2 sticks. It might be like 20 bucks shipping, but anyone in the US would charge twice as much for the sticks as they do- so it's not that big of a deal.

How can you say that nobody else in the US might have them? Did I ever specify that they had to come from the US? Isn't it possible that someone on this BBS might have a few laying around and see this thread? And thirdly, I'm looking for the buttons, not the sticks.

Arcadeinfinity.com sold Sanwa buttons a while back.

They are in the process of upgrading their website so very little is there right now, but you can contact them directly via email.

They will not charge $30 for shipping, as they are based in CA.

I heard they were going out of business. Not sure if this is true or not, just something I heard.

Some guys were discussing a few auctions being held on ebay, and one of the guys said that they were being kicked out of their warehouse. Again, I'm not totally positive that it's happening, but some of the pieces do seem to fit.

Thank you, but I did buy some sanwa buttons on eBay and in short they are too big. I'm sure they would work, but I'm set on buying the original buttons. Call me anal.
