Need help on finding STK79915

A few months ago I blew my monitor and bought another one. However, I would still like to fix the old one. I know for sure that the chip blown is the Verticle Deflector/Driver. However, with a goolge search I only came up with companies that require an order of at least 500 units to buy. All I need is one! Would anyone here know where I can aquire one of these babies?

Are there no companies in your neighbourhood that sell/rent arcade machines? maybe they have an old broken down machine that you might strip :P

The problem is that I had ordered the Candy Cab from Arcade-Infinity. So because its a Japanese Arcade Machine it is very difficult to find replacement parts locally. I have searched all over the web and found a few sites that had them. However, the places I have found them, wants you to buy them in bulk or the website is in chinese.

I found the same things to be true while searching for your part. I did discover some monitor/tv repair services while doing an alternative search, maybe they can help you out where to buy a part like this. Or maybe even order it for you as it is usually easier for them to order 1 piece then it is for consumers to do so.

Maybe one of the chinese language skilled members on the board can help you out translating some of the sites, you never know if there is one that does sell seperate parts.

Final suggestion I can make is posting an ad in the wanted forum maybe someone has a STK79915 lying around
