AES Debug Bios questions?

Here are a few questions about the Debug Bios mod that I have. I can't decide if I want to have one installed or not. I don't really care about the "Invincibility, Unlimited Credits, etc." Mostly want it for boss codes and stuff like that. If it is much eaiser with a Debug Bios to select secret characters right off the bat, then it will be worth it to buy for me anyways.

1. When I set it for "Turn on Blood" for example, will it save and add blood to each game that has it? In other words, does it save or will I have to change the setting everytime I change a game? This question is for all options, not just the "Turn on Blood" option.

2. This question is about the secret characters, etc. I will use "SVC Chaos: SNK vs. Capcom" as an example. I currently own this title for the Sony Playstation 2, so I am just going to assume each version (Neo Geo AES & PS2) are about 90% the same. Whenever I select a secret character, that character replaces the original. So if I choose "Demitri" he appears instead of "Chun-Li", since they both use the same spot (for the PS2 version anyways). With the Debug Bios enabled, will only the secret characters appear instead of all of them? This question is for all games.

Thank you for taking the time to read all of this. Sorry for the elaborate questions, but this is how my brain works (when it does decide to work). Any info will be great. Thank you in advance! :)

It starts in Japanese AES mode as default, that means it will always have the blood/bounce on from the beggining.

The PlayStation2 version and the Neo-Geo version are different in that aspect, in the AES/MVS version, characters don't get replaced when you unlock them. This means that every time you want to select a secret character you will have to input a code in the character select screen.

I'd wait until unibios 1.3 comes out. It will be able to be used on AES machines. Last time I heard.

My turn

I got a question as well; besides using debug features, will it also
enable me to switch between American and Japanese regions in the game, that is, as well as switch text, and whatnot? I should know; I just got a Japanese AES console, and of the 5 games, I got, only one of them is a USA version--3 Count Bout All the others, they're Japanese (DUH!!)

Hi, thanks for the quick response. I think I will just wait on the Debug Bios. Besides I wouldn't want to void my warrenty on a long out of print system. :D

Regarding, SvC Chaos if you have the debug bios how would they appear on the character select screen? I know they are available right out of the box when you have a Mega/Super Neo.
