God's chosen people knocked off the Hamas top leader, and they've claimed that: "Israel has open the gates to Hell." Since America is really Israel's only ally, I'm sure somehow this turns up the heat on us as well. *Better start thinking of possible scenarios and how to survive. maybe WWIII is going to start after all? Well if they did open the gates to hell, let's get ready to send all those motherfuckers straight to it. Give them tickets on the "Hell Express".

I'm talking at a theological standpoint. That terrorists don't give a damn to the Quran, they all would be executed by the muslim authorities, if the islamic countries still followed the Quran.

Acts of state sponsored terrorism, eg: Rocket attacks against civilian areas that kill more innocent bystanders than targetted individuals are NEVER going to solve the problem.
Neither will shooting stone throwing kids.
Neither will breaking their arms with rocks.
Neither will installing a system of apartheid.
Neither will anything else that the Israeli's are doing!

But in my humble opinion, there are elements within Israeli society who have learned the wrong lessons from history.

The Israeli's need to stop using that Billion dollars a year of free US military hardware to kill innocent, poor, civilians, and actually try to find a solution with the majority of decent Palestinians who dont want anything to do with terrorism. While at the same time, tracking down genuine terrorists and showing the world that they can be brought to trial and that the rule of law has not been completely forgotten by a people whose very existence is due to the huge sacrifice's made by the allied powers in WW2.

Its easy for us in the west to point the finger, when we are not living the nightmare ourselves YES.
But clearly the Israeli approach is not working!
Also, clearly the majority of Palestinians are just normal folks who want to live in peace!

The Israelis need to support the Palestinian government, and pour in as much money as is needed to give them the power to actually do something constructive, instead of ham-stringing them at every turn, whilst grinding them under heel.

Until that is done, of course the average Palestinian will see Hamas as a friend! After all, we only hear about the evil that Hamas does, and not the HUGE amount of social projects that they fund.
Until the Palestinian government can marginalise Hamas by providing for the Palestinian people itself, then Hamas will always be a 'cuts both ways' issue to the Palestinian people.


Those who fail to learn the lessons of history are doomed to repeat it.
Those who fail to learn the CORRECT lessons of History are simply doomed.

Israels actions are incomprehensible to me sometimes.

See, I understand your points, and even agree to some of them, but I totally disagree with your conclussions.

Historically, Israel was entirely "made up" after WWII. The land belonged to the Palestinians at that time, and it was simply occupied by force of arms. Oh, poor Palestinians and all that. Fine.

However, the problem of Islamic terrorism is not local to the State of Israel. It's global. The fact that the Palestinians are supposedly oppressed in Israel does not justify the actions of other terrorists in other parts of the world. The Western world abides by certain conventions, which the terrorist blatantly ignore, and thus has proved pathetically unable to defend itself.

You say that Israel's approach is not working. I agree. But that is because they have only used half-measures so far. If they went to an all-out war, the Palestinians would lose, and they would be forced to depart. Other Arab countries would retaliate, and they would be surely crushed. End of story. +

THAT is the essence of Israel's approach at heart, but yet they do not follow their ideas to their logical conclussion. Hence their miserable failure. Terrorist attacks should be contemplated as acts of war, and Western countries should act accordingly, or else perish. That is the brutal truth.
