Okay I've had my stick for about 6 months now, I enjoy it and all, but I still think its "stick portion" just isn't responsive enough. I "double tap" to dash/run in my fighters and it seems like it only comes out 70% of the time. I was debating whether or not to open it up and see if I can "tighten" it up.

yeah my only complain w/ the stick is that its too loose.

I guess it comes like that from factory. One thing you can do is to replace the stick w/ tighter sanwa jp joystick.

Yeah, that's my one complaint about it. When I'm double tapping :D, it seems like the stick still hasn't returned to its neutral position before I get off the second tap.

Hmmm, so I'm not the only one. There is no quick fix? I have to replace with a different stick?

I love mine. I haven't had any problems with responsiveness with the sticks at all.

Hmm, you could try opening up the DC stick and replacing the spring with something a bit stiffer.

Alternatively, replace the stick with a new Sanwa one. Some of the Sanwa models can be used as a direct replacement without even having to use a new case.

I'm using a Sanwa stick in my custom controller and it returns to centre way faster then any other stick I've seen. You don't get the spring back that you get from some sticks where when you let go the opposite microswitch is activated.

Hope that helps.

Well I opened up the stick, inspected the bugger and I'll probably try some stiffer springs. I just want to be able to tap to the right twice without worrying about the stick not snapping back in time, thats all :emb:
