I thought it sucked. It has bad controls, and the game tries to hard to be "controversial".

I have it for PS2 and I like it alot. The controls will take some take to get use to but since you get the hang of it it'll be easy. For a game of it's calibur, it's surprasly long. The story isn't all not good but it's soild enough to keep you playing. Plus, this game is really dufficult. You get easily overpowered fighting more than one enemy. Not only that, Even if your fighting only one guy they always have the upper hand. If you want a dufficult and Enjoyable game get Manhunt.

I was just happy to see the movie THE RUNNING MAN although much more violent in it's approach, finally get made into a video game... cause that's basically all "Manhunt" is. *Seeing some of the same scenes over and over again when you do certain things though gets old fast. I'd rather play the video game version of Red Dawn = Freedom Fighters anyhow.

SPLINTER CELL: PT, but then I'm biased towards military stuff in general so...

Get Ninja Gaiden it rules!!! Manhunt was o.k. but once you beat it there's nothing to do. As for Splinter Cell I didn't like the first one but if you liked it you'll probably love the new one it pretty much got perfect scores in EGM 10, 9.5, 9.5. I'd go with Gaiden though cause it's got the fist 3 games in there and that's worth the fifty bucks alone.

I have a similar dilemma. I'm trying to decide between
BREAKDOWN or TENCHU.

WHat to get...what to get....

I read both Tenchu and breakdown suck in EGM but then again they gave Splinter Cell 2 game of the month over Ninja Gaiden. I guess nobody's man enough to Play hard games anymore and rather shell out fifty bucks for Metal Gear Wannabe:annoyed:

meh, don't get Manhunt, unless you just want to horrify your friends for a bit.

Tenchu looks fun, but I personally got sick of watching/waiting to get the perfect stealth kill.

Splinter cell 2, haven't played it yet, but if it's anything like SP then i'll pass again.

Only get NG if you take several doses of patience, otherwise you'll hurt yourself.

Do yourself a favor and try The Suffering, looks to be very interesting.

I was playing the Suffering last night... what an awesome AWESOME game, though I don't have any desire to spend 50 dollars on a game right now, I'm going to get it down the road.

I would avoid Ninja Gaiden. Even though I love it, it's pretty Hit or Miss with people. See if you can try it before you get it.

If you liked the old Splinter Cell, why not try to new one? If you haven't played the first one you should get that instead considering it's 20 dollars.

Yeah it's a different type of game. Personally I have no problem with doing that, it's pretty cool if you ask me but to each his own.

Avoid Manhunt because it just sucks IMO.

Get Tenchu best game out now.

Breakdown isn't worth $50 it looks like an N64 game it's still a good game. EGM Really liked this game as did OXM but the Graphics are dated (Circa N64) and this is an XBOX exclusive? WTF?

The big game I'm waiting for is Red Dead Revolver I'm getting it in exchange for Gaiden.

Werd! If your an old-school gamer and a glutton for punishment, you'll truly appreciate Ninja Gaiden. I can't get enough of it...and i swear i come up w/ 2 new combos for it everytime i play it. Its one of the best 2d to 3d translations i've seen. It def Rules. :buttrock:
