any1 trying to make a rgb to component conveter?

has any1 ever thought about making a rgb to component converter.
i think this should be better video than the s-video converter mainly cuz rgb and component are similar. i would think there would be less steps in the conversion, there for the video should look much cleaner. plus component is a very common standard in the usa. i have my genesis,neo-geo,duo,and supergrafx hooked up to a rgb to s-video converter now. dreaming of the day i can hook it up with component.

I don't know how good it is, and you would need to make a scart adapter if necessary. But seems like a simple device.

I too want an RGB to component converter. Audio authority has one that goes component to rgb, but not the other way.
