I guess it's the KoF series, 98 in particular, followed by the Samsho series.

non-neo, hmm... well, the first SF2 games, SF2:WW/SCE/Turbo, there are countless books, mooks, vids, faqs and guides about them... glitch faqs, bug vids... etc..

If there's a more or less completely documented fighting game engine, it must be SF2's.

I'd have to go with the SF2 series.

Most documented fighter = MVC2. For better or for worse, SNK has never made a game system that open. Do you know how much documentation it takes to list the possibilities for a game with almost no real physics?

Step 1: Jerk the joystick around with no regard to the stability of your controller/arcade cabinet.

Step 2: Take your right hand and make it flat, then hit/slap the buttons of the machine as hard and as rapidly as possible.

:tickled: Nah, just kidding. There's a lot of documentation to MVC2 because of all the characters. But since a lot of those characters were just ripped out of previous Marvel Vs. games, you could use the previous documentation a lot of the time.

As far as deep documentation, MVC2 is up there with SF2, and possibly Mortal Kombat.

Don't get me wrong. I like MVC2 myself.....we all like putting cheese on a hamburger every once in a while. Especially when there's no one standing at the machine, or when someone's thrown in their credits and just walked off.

MVC2 is a nice play when you have people who know what their doing. But you'd be suprised how far a 12-year-old gets in the game by doing just what I've described above. And then to see the horror in the eyes of the arcade regulars and the Ops of seeing the horrible cabinet treatment given to a naomi board.

It's a sad arcade situation to be in, but hey, it happens.

I've honestly gotten pretty far in the arcade coin-op by doing the above fore-mentioned tactic and also by keeping my eyes closed.(was joking around with some buddies)

I think that's pretty lame.

Yes folks, that's right! Marvel Vs. Capcom 2: The Arcade Fighter so easy to play, even Stevie Wonder can win! :tickled:

Note: No Offence meant toward Stevie Wonder. I'm making an allusion to an old SNL skit where Stevie steped in as a spokes model for a camera company.
