Am I doing someting wrong?
I printed out the inserts from Kazuya's site and they fit perfectly. The picture fills up the shock box. But the ones at CrazeArcade are about an inch smaller all around. Are they meant to be that way or did I mess something up?

Which inserts of mine did you DL??? The 1st ones i posted at CRAZEARCADE were abit smaller than I liked. The latest ones are the size I feel comfortable with because the insert does not go above the display window plastic like some of the ones I discovered at kAZUYA..
Tell me what you DL'ed and if you can provide a pic, that would be cool.

I dwnld'd AoF, Kof96 & 98, Metal Slug, MotW, Neo Turf Masters, TSS and Windjammers from CrazeArcade. These are shy about an inch on the sides, and maybe 1/2 -3/4 in on each side.

From Kazuya I got Last Blade 2 (with the 3 people on the back in normal clothes), Metal Slug X, Magical Drop 3, and Waku^2 7. These fit just right.

Sorry, I don't have any pictures. No digital camera.

I use that Kinko File Prep to convert it to their format (but it's still pdf) so that I don't get charged a $10 conversion fee. Then I ask for the glossy tabloid paper, heavy stock. It's weird because it's the same thing I did for the first 4 I got at Kazuya's.
I don't personally print them out. I leave them on a CD and they print it out. I wonder if there's a setting the employee changed.

All the files at Crazearcade are PDF already.
The dimensions for the inserts are set to print out at 15.127 in width and 9.203 in height. that's about 15 1/8 across and 9 1/4 in height.. I can't understand how you would be off by that much.. weird..
I'm really concerned..
I will PM you.

Yeah, when I took my inserts in, they told me they were like a cm off in size...but no biggie. just take one you have already printed out, hand it to them, and say "make it look exactly like this." shouldn't be a charge.

The 1st set of inserts I created definitely came out smaller than I liked, this is why I redid most of them. The Fatal Fury's I have'nt got around to updating yet but will.
The latest stuff was basically what I wanted the size to be for easy fitting, also allowing enough room for it to fit nicvely below the plastic.

Hey, no complaints here. I f-ing love the ones you have posted. Not trying to sound like an ingrate, keep up the excellent work, and I'll keep buying games for the expressed purpose of having them in a shockbox... :)

NO. I love the criticism... It makes me better :)
This is why I am concerned.
DL that World heroes and have that printed out. Ask them what the dimensions they are having them prinout. I mean I'm fine with the new dimensions of the updated images but if I'm doing something wrong,I surely want to know before I pump out more inserts..
I definitely have alot more images to create..alot more.
How did you have your inserts printed out?? Did you have any of the inserts priinted from Kazuya??
the weird thing is.. with Kazuya inserts I get different dimensions on the prinouts from different contributors.
The fact that Carl told me he had Buttasuperb's insert image prined out and they came out the same size as mine leads me to believe a mistake was made at Kinkos because BUTTA created his insert images before me and I believe he used the template over at Kazuya's. Nobody has my template..
His insert image should have not printed out at the same dimensions as mine.

One more bit of info, in case it might help.

The inserts I printed from Kazuya's were done by a completely different employee and at a different time than the ones from CrazeArcade, but I used the same procedures.

Well,I just received a PM from the SHOCK BOX insert Guru,JHendrix and he stateted that his insert width is 15.250 which is 15 1/4 inches. My inserts width is 15.127.
I creatd my width 1/8 smaller than his.
JHendrix will be getting back to me later with confirmation.
Thanks for the PM Carl,I appreciate the headz up because I would hate to find out I did something wrong, sooner than later.
If that Kinko's attendant made a mistake,it's imperative that you address th situation immediately.

Let us know about the dimension info Big Bear cuz i just got 4 boxes and ill be getting 12 more (wink) very soon. I plan on doin a Kinkos Shock Blitz!!! But i dont want to do a mass job with all of them comin out short.

Thanks!
Super great stuff!

*EDIT*
I just measured an insert that xzibit gave me and it was 15.25 in wide and 9.25 in high. It fit nicely in a black shockbox but it was not completely filling the sleeve.
