Newbie 4slot hookup help

I am very near buying a 4slot board from someone on the board and did some research on hardmvs.com
It says how to make a power supply board and a JAMMA harness (kinda) but I was wondering how the power hooks up, I mean do MVS have an AC cord or do you do it yourself?
And as for Harness modification for multislot do I just need a Harness (and joysticks of course) and wire or do I need special soldering stuff for the Harness.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

I'm not asking for full instructions maybe just info on if I need special tools, 'cuz the highly reccomended site has unfinished walkthrus

basically you wire the power supply into the jamma harness.

Just follow the wiring diagram on HardMVS
and the wire diagram on whatever PSU you decide to get.

then its just a matching game.

+5v to +5v
+12v to +12v
etc.


I just took a regular ATX power supply for mine.

I would post pictures, but I don't like showing off my work before its finished. Its taking that damn plexi-glass long enough to get here.
