A dumb question (Atomiswave)

Well, I was looking at the AW hardware pics, and the carts have 'clips' (2 or 3) to plug it correctly in the board.

Can the AW owners tell more about it? It is sturdy enough to continuous use, like a home system?

It has two clips that hold it to the board, you are supposed to press them when you put or remove it. It's actually much easier to remove it than to put it.
Since I only have one game it's hard to tell if it's a good system, but as always take care an arcade board is not a home system so you are not supposed to swap games more often than once a week.
Overall I think is an OK system, at least there's only one way to put the game, either it fits or not. In the MVS you can put the game all the way to the bottom or leave it a bit loose, actually I would get errors depending on how I put them.

They seem pretty sturdy, but I wouldn't lend them to your 7 year old nephew.
