ok I am looking at the back of the jameco and I see the pin out but is the pin out like looking at the male end of the cable or is it like looking in from the inside out?

hmmm...3 grounds and just one 5V? I'd turn one of those gnds into another 5V, that would be better.

Depends on what you're using it for. For boards that draw all the juice the PSU can output, 2 wires for 5v will always be better than one...

^^true.....mini one slots and multi slots work fine...at least for me with single and 4 slot....as well as with my pgm and cps2 setup...

but...that's all I have used these for personally...

other boards or games may/do need more then this little external one...can put out.

Thanks guys! I appreciate the help, I am going to use it for a pgm board, and possibly and atomis wave, if my hdtv wont display its vga output.

I have used the SC 200 successfully with an MV-1 and many jamma boards.........

I guess if you were to use it with speakers rather than a at circuit, it might not be powerfull enough.

THe only boards that should have a problem with the SC 200 are ones that require a -5v to power an audio amp (Killer Instinct, CPS II, Mortal Combat) and boards that have some type of optical drive.
