I have been searching and reading threads on the AW and found the answer to most of my questions. I was just wondering about a few things. I'm running a MAS Systems supernova and was wondering about the button layout because I know AW uses a 5 button setup, do I need to do any wiring or anything to get the fifth button to work because I have MAS sticks which has a 6 button layouts? And as far as the sound I dont need to do anything because the supernova is wired for stereo sound correct? And as far as the video I have a 27in Sony Wega would I have to run it low res or hi res?

Thanks guys this info will be greatly appreciated.

I am using a SuperNova, and I ran wires from JAMMA pins 25 and 26 to the kick harness for buttons 4 and 5.

As for your TV, you would run it in 15khz mode (not VGA).

You will get mono sound in your set-up, unless you manage to use the separate connector for stereo sound in the AW.

Where do I get this separate connector from?

Ok if I go ahead and wire the buttons to the harness to get the 4th and 5th button will it still play my MVS stuff or will I have to wire everything back the way it was? If thats the case should I just get another nova wired just for the AW and have the other one dedicated to MVS? And for the 15khz is that the low res switch on the AW?

We've already said this many times...

If you can play MVS OK in your supergun, with all four buttons, then you will be able to use the AW OK, without modifications, with the first 4 buttons. If in MVS you can use the select button, then in AW it will work as the 5th button. If you can't, then you need to connect the button you want to act as 5th in AW to pin 26 in the JAMMA harness (and at the same time it will work as select in MVS). So you can use the same supergun for both systems, as long as it is correctly wired.

If the switch is setted to 15 khz, the AW will play OK in your TV using the video output in the supergun. If it's setted to 31 khz, it won't work in your TV, and you would need to use a VGA monitor using the VGA video output in the AW itself.
