If you consider Setsuna's special DM, then... yes.

Theorically you kill your opponent if you finish him/her with a DM, otherwise Hibiki would not turn evil.

WTF? Turn evil?

You can cut them in half a la Samurai Shodown style and I've heard you can cut heads off too but I've never seen it in 3 years of playing.

Only cutting them in half in LB1 for all I know. I'm not even sure how to pull it off :p RESEARCH aka a reason to stop doing HW and play some Last Blade :buttrock:

To me, LB1, SS1, SS2 alike; I cannot repeatedly do a fatality (ie slash one in half). It seems so unrepeatable, I'm just about to presume its pretty near damn random.

Well, they are.

I know in Last Blade only specific special attacks could cut foes in two. Some attacks wouldn't cut foes in two but still kill them.

In Last Blade 2, just about anything involving a sharp weapon can kill foes. Normal attacks (Which didn't work in LB 1.) can kill now. Amano's unblockable BC attack can kill (Probably the only attack he has that can cut a foe in two.).

What? I didnt know Amano can kill people. I have last blade 1 and you can slice people in half I think 2 ways(one in the air) and you can also kill people by stabbing them and blood shoots out.
A good way to kill someone in the air is with Kaedes quarter circle back B, repeat this motion 3 times for the combo and on the third blow you always send your opponent flying into the air in 2 pieces.
Can other characters without sharp blades cut people in half?akari?okina?

I figured it out in SS1/2, with Haohmaru anyways. In the 2nd or final round (depends on who's winning). I found just doing a Medium Slash (B) to finish depleting your enemy's lifebar will usually split them in two. Dunno about teh other chars or LB though, to me it seems pretty random in LB and I only manage to do it with Setsuna.

In Last Blade 1, most characters have to have at least on move that will cut the opponent in the middle. But it seems like they must be standing still, when you counterattack them it won´t work?
Also, some move will cut them in half, in air, if they jump at you, but not if they´re on the ground. Just experiment...

How come Last Blade isn´t censored like the SS-games by the way?

Naw krakov, the Kaede combo I put up there throws the enemy up into the air.
The enenmy doesnt jump at all.
I seem to get the most death scenes with Shikyoh. I like the fatalities in last blade a little better than SS2. THe fatalities in SS4 are the best part about that game.(there has to be over 15 different fatalities in that game!
PS Last Blade 1 owns LB2

There are 2 different ways blood shoots out.

hey last blade 1 has blood on my neo cd so fatalitys are available but LB2 for neo cd dousnt have blood (well its white). ive done fatalitys and seen hibikis evil ending but only on emulator.

anybody know the blood code for last blade 2 for neo cd. damn why they take the blood out anyway.??...

I really haven't played my LB2 all that much, I guess I figured I'd master LB1 first or some dumb reason, but anyhow, when I play LB1 I always play in Japanese Home Version mode or Japanese MVS mode, and I have seen fatalities like cutting people in half. This Hibiki turning evil fatality sounds cool, anyone know how to do this?

its not realy something special. first when she kills someone shes shocked. after a few fights she gets used to it. and after a few more rounds likes it. so when you get the ending its different this time. instead of being a sorry ass no good fake ass killer she turns into a real limb chopper.
