lonely fighter...

I am an fighting game nut but most of the time I play against the computer....

I am considering buying one of the following ganmes next:

-samurai showdown V
-SVC Chaos
-matrimelee

Can somwebody who has played them all teel me which of these games is my best buy when I am playing alone most of the time??

I was thinking about SS V myself, can anybody give me some advice please????

SSV - Very good game/ little innovation but alot of fun, I like the specials system as well it is easy to master.

SVC Chaos: I really like this game but the play mechanics is not what I was used to. I came into this game a hardened Ryu Vetran in Capcom Vs SNK 2... I played as Ryu my first time playing the game, and got my ass handed to me... The SNK characters are more familiar to me I usually use Terry or Iori in this game. SVC chaos although a good game, in my honest opinion is a great game... Although being able to fight Ryu Vs Terry. *on the neo* it's my opinion that every neo fighting fan should have this game.

Matrimelee is an odd little game with some wild music. The fighting system is pretty average with some very cool characters/moves/specials. The game is just so ODD... The granny character has a move where she throws her dentures at you. There is a woman on a swing who sings throughout the match with her face on a huge screen behind her (you hear her digitized voice singing throughout the match as well) and then there are these Crazy little dancing alien things in the backround... I have not spent much time with this game but it is pretty endearing and I'm glad to have it in my collection. It's got some great cover art on it as well (and of the 3 you picked its the cheapest)

Thanks a lot.. Matrimelee is indeed the cheapest game...but which would you recommend if I would buy only one??????

I want them all offcourse but can only buy one for now...I have just bought my neo 3 months ago and I have already bought Last Blade 2, ROTD, KOF 99, 2000 , 2001 and SS2 and a second AES system....

So you can understand I am gone take it easy now for a while...

Ahh you already have SS2, if you have SS2 I would say wait on SSV because SS2 is great and SSV won't really blow you away.

I reccomend pick up SVC Chaos... As you probably will/should pick it up at some time. It's a great game. But at the Same time Matrimelee is great, I'm not sure which one I would pick between the two..

I'd say the deciscion should be yours...

i have matrimelee and as you i mostly play alone ... Dont buy this game , there is no training mode , the endings suk really hard , there are no cutscene . you fight 7 characters and thats all....
so i advice you to take another game for solo ...
plus i have not yet debug so i hear the same 4 music all the times.........

I prefer playing kof 2k or ff special there are much funny .

i think you should take SVC- chaos , the price is not so high
i live near marseille and a shop had this game for 200 euros un-opened ( lol i didnt took it finaly because my brother wanted me to buy a gp32 - she roks- )

Matrimelee is a good choice gameplay wise and price wise.

I just got Matrimelee and I love it. I've played SvC at the arcade and I like it, but I think I would get Matrimelee first if I were you just my opinion,
