Any chance Atomiswave games will be ported?

i thought about that possibility a while ago
thing is,
the neo has always been special
allowing people to play exactly the same games you could find in arcades
thats what the neo is all about...
that and great 2d games
not a big fan of 3d backgrounds or high res sprites,me
but if thats the direction playmore wants to go,
then i dont want to buy a different version of those games
atomiswave and neo dont mix

I think it's a very good idea to port them to the consoles that actually have a market: my bets are on PS2 in Japan and Xbox in USA. I'll be happy if they do so. Of course I'd prefer those games to be released in DC, but unfortunately I think it's not gonna happen.
You know Guilty Gear Isuka (possibly the first big exclusive title for AW) has already been announced for PS2 in Japan.

Well I wouldn't mind a low res version of Demolish Fist on the NEO:GEO myself, or even Dolphin Blue but I know the practicality of that happening is about as feasiable as it is me morphing into a Dragon and farting my way to Mars.

whatever way you look at it, the Atomiswave is way more powerful than the Neo Geo, the costs to port the game would be far too large and the games would of course have to be stripped down. The market isn't big enough for Playmore to bother IMO. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't wish it to happen... just it never will.

Either way, no. They will not port their AW games to AES. Didn't you remember? Playmore took all their fans money and sold out so that they wouldn't have to market towards us anymore. Shawn knows exactly what i'm talking about.
I guess it's only good business edicate to not share his frustrations with us. Although, you can bet your ass that Shawn won't respond to support the move to AW either...
Fucking Playmore took all of our money in the same mindset that they sued the pants off Aruze. Money greedy fucks. They didn't care about continuing the future of the neo geo, they just bought out the company for resale reasons. SNK-Playmore didn't exist for the fans at all, SNK-Playmore was just all about a quick easy buck.

Children, calm down. For crying out loud. SNK Playmore was about the fans, as much as it was about making money. So is Nintendo, and Sony, and Sega, and so was Atari for that matter, and all that was under the brow of the big-wigs who sliced and diced Atari Corp. of USA into tiny fragments and then sold to the highest bidder was profit share. Its business. We all know what that means. SNK Playmore was cool, is cool, and always will be cool. SNK was the harcdcore arcade hardware/software distributor with a home system to rival that by any other name. I love Neo-Geo, I love SNK, I love SNK Playmore for supporting the AES for a short while. Thank you for giving me such a long string of fond memories. No Atomiswave game will top KOF 99 I believe. KOF 2000 was a blowout dream fighter as well. Go AtomisWave.... may we get to play more... thanks to SNK Playmore.
