How do you switch games?

I have an MVS-2 system that supports two game cartridges at a time. If you let the system sit idle, it will switch to the second game and you can begin playing it.

Is there a way to force it to switch to the other game immediately?

Under the setup menu there should be an option to change the way you select the games...something like...go to soft dip, setting up the cabinet and change the 'game select' option to free.

Hope this helps...

Of course, I have a 6-slot, so it could be different for a 2-slot. I dunno. But hopefully not :D

Yes, is there some button sequence or action that will switch to a game other than the one that is in attract mode on the monitor.

Yes all MVS boards with multiple slots has this feature ,

You hook it up just like your A , B , C , D buttons are hooked up from the Jamma Harness ,

To locate the select button wire on your Jamma harness , go to this site http://www.hardmvs.com/ and click on Tech Center , then Jamma information , scroll down to where it says you can view the different pinouts then click on here ,

Ok now you see Jamma wireing and Neo MVS wireing ,

On the MVS wireing look down where the D buttons wire is located on the harness and the select buttons wire is right under it on the Jamma harness ,

Now one of my cabs didn't have this wire on the Jamma harness , if yours doesn't , you can email Briggs the guy who runs the site and he can sell you the jamma pin and wire to add it to your harness for a few bucks ,
