I have found that if you want someone to hold something for you then you need to ask:

"Will you please hold that for me until this exact date and time?"

and only if they say "YES!" then do you have an item on hold.

I have recently bought some cd pads and a kof 95 mvs cart from a couple of people, but I had to go to the bank the next day for each item (bought on different days).....

so I usually ask if they can wait until noon or 5pm the next day for payment, and promise to pay them by then....which I did.

Deals have to have exact wording and straight forward agreements. Sorry your deal didn't go through and all I can really say is make sure to set the agreements for holding items in stone.

Nintendospy, I suggest you remove Lee from your "Bad Sellers" list since you actually did not buy anything from him. Far too often people tell me they're interested in buying something, I say "Great!", and then I never hear from them again. So unless you had an agreement on buying it by a certain time and Lee sold it before then to someone else, you are at fault.

Lee has a very good rep on these forums and you have been know to promise to buy something and then not follow through, so don't start accusing people of being bad sellers if they aren't.

This is the 2nd thread i read about NintendoSpy bad buying

Sorry if you have no money down on the item.... the item is free for sale unless the seller has "AGREED" to hold it for you

As you said in your PM:
You're number 1 in line. Let me know if you want it.

Sorry man, that does not constitute holding an item. That just means that if you have the money, you have first shot. I have to agree with D-Lite and leepantalone on this one.

I got you on this,Lee.

I've dealt with Lee many times in the past, and every single transaction went smoothly. Lee is a cool guy and a very trustworthy member in my book.

Nintendospy,on the other hand,is indeed, a l0ser. He and I did a trade awhile back, and to keep a long story short,I must say,I was not satisfied with the outcome.

However, since it was no big loss,I didn't really care to post anything about it.Nintendospy,on the other hand, thought otherwise. He figured since I called him on his BS lie,he felt the need to come up with yet another BS lie by falsely accusing me of sending him a defective game,in retaliation, to tarnish my reputation as a trader by publicly posting a negative comment about our transaction on a thread in the selling forum,in which I thought was totally uncalled for, since it was I,who was on the short end of the stick, and not him.

Childish,you ask? Absolutely.

Avoid dealing with Nintendospy at all cost.

You have been warned.

I'm currently in the middle of a deal with nintendospy for a minty AES system and boxed new style joystick. As far as I can tell, my package is enroute to me via USPS mail.

Let me say that nintendospy has been professional and communicative during this transaction. I'll reserve final judgement until I get my goods, but for what it's worth, he's been a man of his word so far.

Anyone who would badmouth Lee or BIG is obviously a moron or a child (or both).

I bought an XBox from Lee almost a year ago - there were a couple of accidental problems, warranty issues, etc. Lee was not only a great guy about the whole thing, but a model of trustworthiness, friendliness, and care for his buyers. He made sure that I was completely satisfied and went way out of his way to be a great seller. He's one of the very top sellers I've ever dealt with online, not just on this site.

If only more people on the forums were like Lee - instead there are increasing numbers of deadbeats, children, and scammers. People should realize that just discussing an item with someone doesn't make that seller obligated to sell to them.

On this specific issue, all I know is that if Lee and BIG say stay away, everyone should.

I just completed a deal with Nintendospy for a League Bowling Dog Tag AES. He shipped my game immediately after receiving my payment. The same day he mailed my item to me I was emailed with a Delivery Confirmation number for my package. The game arrived in LIKE NEW Condition and was VERY VERY SECURELY packaged to ensure it would arrive to me safely. I would definitely deal with him again as he was very professional in the deal we had together.

Hopefully you guys get this worked out as you both are some good guys to deal with.

my references speak for themselves.

That probably wasn't the thing to say in this thread. It seems to me just from reading this thread your references are saying you are a deadbeat loser.

I did not understand the situation at first.... but Lee is one heck of a great seller and buyer.

one of the best on the forums.

definitely not a time waster..... and he is definitely an asset to these selling forums.
