How would an Auction be ended early?

I generally hit buy it now auctions cause I hate bidding wars when some fucker on a fast connection refreshes the last 10 seconds or so and steals it out from under you by 50 cents.

you pm him with a total and ask if he will end it early for that amount.......then he ends the auction and you deal on the baords.....

at least that's what I would do :)
