If that question was directed at me, then no it's not my Ebay User name... I am the same everywhere. Where I go destruction follows. After losing 8 times early on in my Ebay life, I got wise and battle hardened... now it's all about the one shot, and if you lose an auction, it's the equivalent of not better knowing who was out there. When you lose to the same person, and the only way you could have lost was that they too were a
Silent Scope, then you begin to strategize a way to beat them the next time. EBAY isn't just a buying ground... it's a battleground of wits, nerves, and tactics. So when I win an item it's because I'm the better honed warrior (or Cyber Warrior in this case) and it's an accomplishment. Nothing like having waited out on the "Watching Item" list an auction for 5 days, come back on day 5 with 12 minutes to go and watch
Infantry fighting it out with cheap assed up the ante bids of .25cent or $1.75 bids one at a time, then suddenly at minute 2, a still learning SNIPER shoots and the Ante is upped considerably... then the Infantry goes nuts and tries to outdo that shot. 1 minute 20 seconds to go, the newbie Silent Scope shoots again... if the Infantry still has it in them, it becomes a blood lust and, the bid being somewhere at $45.00 because people want something as cheap as they can get it of course. None of their bids work, newbie sniper is the highest bidder... THEN SUDDENLY.
*A Thunderous Roar... half a mile out. .50 Caliber armor piercing Maximum Bid... I WIN
...such is life on the battlefeild nightmare of EBAY, and the times that I do lose it's okay, I know that it was a game of nerves and patience.
