What's the matter with having US versions at any cost? The JAP's around $200 so...

This is just messed up! Less than 2 years ago, you would be lucky to get $180 for an English Last Blade on ebay. I remember seeing one go for a little under $180 back in 2002 and I thought that was too expensive. I guess I should have bought the game. I don't understand why this game would triple in price in just under 2 years. People make such a big deal out of English artwork. You can buy a Japanese Kizuna Encounter in mint condition for about $600 but the English version is over $10,000. Go figure, I guess I will just have to stick to Japanese versions and make sure that I buy the new releases from the Neo Store before the prices go super high. I bet that Rage of the Dragons will fetch over $600 in a year or two.

Well, since I have quit playing my Neo games for the most part...

I'm going after the US versions of my favorite games.

All I can say is that U.S. Metal Slugs = GOLD! Hold onto them!

The Last Blade is one of the BEST fighters on the Neo or any other system for that matter and has some of the most beautiful art I've ever seen in a game.

I'll let a collector pick this one up, because it WILL sell.

I bet if you toss a Slug 3 U.S. in the Neo Store someone will buy it for $375.

Shit, a Slug X U.S. went in the store a few weeks ago for $775?

Gamer = JPN
Collector = U.S.

Good luck guys...this is a tough ass hobby to keep financed.

I am Jack's lack of surprise

yeah, I've been saying it for a while.

I remember how hard it was for me to locate a US LB (which never materialized)

I used to post here all the time saying how hard it was to find an LB1, yet no one listened (mind you, this was back when it was valued at 200)

You are very responsible Kenny Boy! You used your super physic powers to take control of the bidders to drive the prices up. If you are not stopped soon, Magician Lord will be a $500 game. I foresee the price of a Euro Kizuna Encounter hitting the $100,000 mark in the next few weeks. The madness must be stopped at once! All I have to say to you is:

-----T
-----i
-----c
-----k
Plane
-----t

Your domination over the world Neo Geo market must be stopped at all costs or mankind will surely be demolished! Kenny Boy, you are going down!!!

I got a nice US Last Blade a couple of months ago for £100. Turning out to be a bit of a bargain.

Remember: Nobody in the world has true authority on the games pricing but the company itself.

I bought a jp last blade cause I hated the crappy chopped up art in the US ver.

When it comes to shinkiro art, I actually have a preferred copy of the said game.

I would say:

Gamer = MVS
Gamer with much cash/collector = JPN AES
Collector with all the jack = US AES

I have eight MVS games so far, the most expensive being MOTW and Metal Slug X; I can't imagine spending that kind of money on a game (even if I didn't care about staying married)...

I guess it's all just degrees of insanity, anyway...

Hmm...With such huge price increases on these US carts I wonder now how much a Near mint/Mint copy of Metal Slug US would fetch?

Well the only argument I would make to that point

US gamer who bought the games when they first came out and does not need to resale them for Money=US NGH (for the most part)

maybe someone entering in the market today but do not forget the gamers that have been around for 10+ years.

as far as Last blade 1 going up in value. Well all I can say is more power to the resellers ;)

A LOT.

But I think the price increase for a mint/nm copy of Neo Turfmasters would be much greater.
