Memory Card modification...is it possible?

Hello, I would like to know if you guys would think its possible, and maby you know how to do it...
I would like to push the memory card slot back into the system a bit, and put a memory card in it and make it to where its inside the system and nobody can see it or get to it, so it would work like internal ram like my 3DO, turboduo...etc... and I would like to put a switch on the back of the unit to turn the memory card on/off...
Does it sound possible and what exactly would I need to do to put the switch in there..ie where would I solder the switch's wires to on the memory card port? Its most likely impossible but what the hell, why not ask? I modded my Geo with everything else except s-video so far without any problems...so maby someone out there with NG Memory Card Port knowledge could help me out.

Oh and I NEED the parts to make the s-video port on my Geo, but cannot find any stores that carry the specific parts I need, anyone out there have them and want to sell me the parts I need so I can finally install the s-video port on my NG system?

that is possible, there is no vcc supply to the memory card, it has a built in lithium battery to support the ram.

Where is the pinout of the memory card? Do I just put the switch wires on pin 1 and the last pin on the memory card port? or what ... this will be a neat project...especially if I can find a Panasonic 1 MB memory card.
