right now i have a one slot original mvs cab (MV-1f) and i was thinhking about getting a two slot board. If I didn't put a select button in, would the intros just play in a loop and i would hit start at the title srceen that i want to play?
and is there a simple guide to adding a select button somewhere. I'm pretty green when it comes to soldering and stuff.

thanx

It will cycle and you can coin it.

Adding a select button should be really easy........

Just find a way to attach (you don't nessacarily need to solder) a wire from the jamma harness to a button to the ground.

get a "momentary push button"...$2.00 or so at radio shack. Sure it's more then online, but there's no shipping and it's only one part.

It should have a 2 pins on the back of it....

connect one side to pin 26 on the jamma harness and the other to ground (far 4 pins on either side of the harness) or straight to a ground on your powersupply.

oh, and it does NOT matter which side goes to what..... :)

mount the little F'r on your cab somewhere and bam, you have a game select button for a 2,4, or 6 slot.

If you get brave, you can also add a pause button to your cab very easily :D It's great for when the phone rings or the bathroom calls ;)

Momentary is great, but if you would like to use other Jamma PCB's, I'd recomend a toggle of some sort. a handfull of jamma pcb's require a toggle.

Also if your going from mono to stereo, plese note the other changes that have to be made.
