I got my first AES cartridge today. YAY! I must say it is everything I dreamed of and more. The artwork and casing is absolutely amazing and the cartridge is so huge and so cool! I was actually surprised by the way it felt. I was expecting it to be more "solid" I guess. The insert booklet came in a little baggy and totally rocked!

The game is "Magician Lord". Now all I need is an AES system...

Congratulations! Hope you enjoy it, and glad you had the cash for it.

Something to aspire for I guess.

Oh, and Kazuki--

Hmmm

i was the same when i got my KOF98.

I think the artwork and packaging of jap carts makes them so collectable - even before you play the game.

Hope you enjoy it mate!

I had an AES cart too, because I bought an AES system too.

The AES system never came, so I never got to play it.

I will never trade on Neo Alec's forums again. =P

I misplaced the contact information, and then like a few days later neoalec's forums went down. :very_ang:

Congratulations! I still remember the day I got my first AES cart....FF2 Jap. I purchased the game shortly before I got my system. Welcome to the world of AES.

Yes, the day you get your first Neo AES cart is one that you won't soon forget. I too received my first cart before I had the system in hand. It was Sengoku, if I recall correctly, and my AES system didn't arrive until a week later!

I was very impressed by the packaging...unlike anything that was available for the NES, Genesis or Super NES. I can remember re-reading that manual over and over in hopes of being able to play my new game.

Congrats on your expensive new drug addiction, collecting AES carts. Oh, and there is no rehab for this addiction.
