What's the best way to clean finger-prints off of aes carts, and the best cleaning solution to use?

Nice reply except for the whole jumping to conclusions thing and the extreme stupidity you seem to exhude.

The fingerprints don't bother me in the least, I'm trying to clean the handling prints on the carts up as an extra Courtesy to the people who are BUYING them off me.

You know as in an attempt to be THOUGHTFUL, which is (I realize I have only 126 posts, while you've got somewhere in the neighborhood of 1400) and I'm just guessing by the way, that is almost alien to you.

I think that cleaning the cart gently with a non-abrasive cloth would be the most effective way. Any fingerprints on the cart should come off. You definitely do not want to use any chemicals that might cause damage.

Are you having problems getting them clean?

I'm not having any issues with the carts, I just wanted to ask as a precaution before I attempted to use anything on them.

I think a piece of cloth should be fine... If it's extra greasy, try some soft soap or better yet noxema skin cream....

Geesh, simmer down, it was just a joke.

Anyway, before you send it off, buy a box of altoids and smash them until you've just got sand, and then sprinkle it all over the cart to make it "minty fresh."

uh huh, sending it off, I bet you killed somebody with your homecart and your tryind to dump the evidence. I can just see the police report; victim suffer excessive head trauma from blow with a blunt object with the markings SNk being imprinted on his forehead

No offense, but the concept of cleaning fingerprints off is a tad hilarious. I can just picture you in a static-free room, white gloves and respirator, lightly dusting your aes carts... seriously, who gives a damn about finger prints? As soon as you pick up the cart it's going to have more finger prints on it, unless we're talking big sticky marks here. I know aes collectors can be picky, but this is just ridiculous...
