How can I get amplified sound out of my AES?

If I am not mistaken, the sound you get out of the AES' headphones jack is NOT amplified, whereas MV-2F boards do have amplified stereo output via the headphone jack. Right? (at least I can clearly perceive a difference in power between my two setups, an AES and a MV-2F + supergun).

Now my question is: is there any gadget with which I could "amplify" the sound which the AES system outputs, before I send the signal to my stereo?

Please help!

:help:

The headphone circuit on the console is identical to its MVS counterpart and is amplified.

Hmm...it certainly doesn't sound as if it was, at least in my system. There is a significant difference between my two setups. Weird.

What's the serial # of your AES unit?

I am guessing it's over 20,XXX.

If so, that's normal. Early AES units have MUCH stronger/louder sound than latter.
