One of my MVH-6 boards has it and the other doesnt, so its not essential imho. The 5 volts otherwise connects via the PCB mounted plugs/sockets- this just beefs up the GND & 5 volts connection between top and bottom boards.
Maybe the MVH-6 has this added on later production runs ?

Two of my 4 Slot boards don't have it or the location for it..

Another 4 slot board I have has it .
A forth 4 Slot board I have the has the location for it but the wire is missing..
The board works fine though..

Do you think I should make something up...just to be safe..?

It wouldnt do any harm, SNK obviously thought it was necessary at some stage and for some reason.

ttooddddyy...

I was looking at the various PCBs I have around and found out that some of them have the same Black & Red wire connecting plug../that I can use as a replacement..

One board for instance that has it is Victory Road.

I figured I'd update my thread with this info just incase someone needs this info and uses the search engine.
