I'm trying to get all the good fighters for the aes system but I have A problem. I just recently purchased a neo geo aes system off ebay and am looking for showdown 2 but every time I go for it it goes for like 50 bucks and the showdowns are supposed to be the easy to find games. Should I just stop looking on ebay because I've just recently purchased like 8 games for about 300 all together. What do you think? :help:

50 beans doesn't seem too bad for SS2, but if you're tight on cash, just be patient and keep watching for a good price offering...

all things considered with the NEO hobby, that statement isn't totally off, eh?

50 bucks wouldn't be a problem. I'm just asking people who have been doing this for a long time if that is a little steep. I just bought ss1 for 10 bucks and alot of games on the forum are cheaper. So what I meant was should I look for ss2 on ebay or on the forum? I'm just broke because I just bought the system on ebay for 270.00 and 10 games for a total of like 400 all together. I don't mind spending money when I have it.

That isn't a totally god awful price, but there are better deals out there for SSII. You just have to be patient. In this hobby it is a necessity.

It's not too bad, but I understand how you might feel about it after the bundle you just picked up. Considering the fact that all new games for the next-gen systems are 50 bucks then it's not exactly highway robbery for an AES game. The NEO bug is an expensive one at times, but you'll find it for cheaper than that if you just wait it out.

$50, $40, its all a good price for SS2 English AES. Quit stallin and buy one up. You'll forget the price b/c the game is fun enough.

IMO

wait bud and look on the forum...post a want ad in snk wanted...I have let a nm condition complete sam spirits 2 go for $35 shipped before, $50 is far too high. I have seen the game on ebay though in excellent condition complete from japan buyer for $18 but then shipping will run about $20 for ems...,

I paid $45 for a brand new Japanese SS2 so I would just wait it out, but hell I like the game so much I probably would have paid $100.

Money doesn't come easy so you have every right to want the best possible deal. I wouldn't really bother with ebay anymore though, I've seen some games go for far more then they are really worth. It's sometimes a waste of time unless you come across easier to find games, because there's more of a chance they will go for less. I'd stick to looking around the forums and maybe posting a want ad. I know that with time and patience, you'll be able to get one. You said you purchased a lot of other games right? so use those right now for entertainment, and just hold onto your patience and find this other game for the price you want. After you're done with the other games you bought, you could always sell those and make a little money to buy the game you are looking for.
