Ok I just got a 2-slot MVS Last night. It isn't in perfect shape but it is from 1993.

The controlers arn't perfect, I managed to get the button sto work perfectly, but the actual controls are a lil sloppy, it is hard to jump properly, so where can I get the pieces to rebuild the controlers?

Also, teh screan is not perfect as well, it gets dim and bright as I play it, has VERY SLIGHT pops and queefs as I play.

Last little thing, I want the cover for the controllers, that red and white vynal thingy.

Basically need parts and help, thank you

Ebay might be the place to find a control panel to get parts from. I recently saw one there and it had the red and white stripes that you are looking for. Check it out every so often.

Also, try making contact with any arcade distributors in your area, they may let you come over and buy parts from them. I've contacted some in my area by looking in the phone book.

I wonder if the Happs online store that everyone talks about is a good source for replacement parts for the Neo. Not sure if the parts will fit but you can always check it out.

Good luck.

I buy from Happ Controls .

I recommend the "Super Joystick" (part # 50-6084-00).

Avoid the "Ultimate Joystick" like the plague.

I also recommend using the convex buttons.
Once you start using those, you'll never want to go back to the usual concave style.

Power Supply

power supply that I use
This power supply doesn't connect to the on/off switch near the coin door, but you'll save $20.

You might want to blow the slots out with some compressed air.

If there is something wrong with your monitor, find someone who is familiar with game repair, and ask them to look at it.
There is a lot of juice in the monitor even when it's off...

I also recommend the Super Joysticks.

You may want to email this EBay Seller about the control panel overlay.
wwwvideoconnectcom(vc@videoconnect.com)
They had a few listed on EBay and may have some more left.

I also think there is a member here who sells them..

ALSO, If I purchase these items, do they come with snap switches or do I have to purchase them too?

Those buttons come with microswitches.

You don't actually need to replace your buttons unless they are sticking or broken.
Swapping the old style for the convex ones is just one of my personal preferences.

Besides, new buttons = nice new feel.

Well, don't buy BOTH power supplies, just one or the other.
Check to see if you even need one. If it's new (and working properly), I wouldn't replace that.
But yeah, swapping that stuff out shouldn't be a problem.

You're probably still going to have those monitor glitches.
I reiterate:
There is a lot of juice back there.

If you don't know anything about monitor repair, find a professional to check it out.

Another great site to get arcade parts from: http://www.therealbobroberts.com

Bob is a great guy to deal with and has a lot of stuff.

For the monitor trouble, it sounds like you may need a cap kit installed. A cap kit replaces worn out capaciters on the monitor's chassis. Just like others have said, DO NOT mess with the monitor if you're not sure what to do. They can store up a nasty charge even when the games is turned off for a while. Some do bleed off the charge over time, but not all. The monitor may not be a pressing issue for ya anyway. There's always time to learn more later. :)
