I don't know if those chips on the right are eproms

what does eproms look like

those chips on the right looks funny, never seen them before

so what does eproms look like?

so if an mvs cart does not have toshiba chips, does that mean is a boot?

To me, that looks like an SNK repair job.

Why? Because the majority of the chips are the Toshiba varieties. Snk sometimes updated/fixed their boards with EPROMs and this game (whatever it is) could fall under that category.

Also, it's best not to leave the EPROM chips exposed like that. Cover the windows in the EPROM chips with a sticker or some electrical tape.

oh thanks for your advice!

i am a mvs newbie

so should all original carts have Toshiba stamped chips?

what about chips that are not toshiba stamped, but with just some codes on it?

its real.

not a repair, probably was sold that way. looks like some of my last blades and kof 96s.

I have the same version. It's very common to see SS3 and kof96 with those color striped eproms.
