As my room is invaded by very small bugs each summer (you should see the CD's on the rack closest to the window! ), I'd like to have something efficient to "seal" my, to me, expensive AES games with. I've got seal kings from AI Trading for CD's, double CD's and DVD's, but I haven't been able to find anything bigger. I saw someone who had his AES in a big re-sealable plastic bag. My games are currently in regular plastic bags , but I think that looks kinda stupid, and they're not sealed, so those little buggers could still crawl in there :shame: I know the collection doesn't look like much now, but MOTW :multi_co: will be joining them in a few days, so the stakes kinda go up ;)

I'd love to hear from someone who knows where to buy some NGH cart-sized re-sealable bags.

Yes, I know this has probably been discussed before, but I couldn't think of what to search for...

if you're really hard up, how about some kind of resealable plastic container?

Head up to your local Wal-Mart, and pick up a vaccume sealer for like $19.00 and some large bags.

Thats going a little too far , don't you think?;)

I use ziplock bags but cut them to the right size of the aes box. They fit perfectly if placed sideways in a large ziplock bag, with the top part cut down to size.

They're too small to be caught by bug-nets and if I don't open the windows during the summer it's like a sauna in here ;)

My advice: don't use plastic bags, such as ziplocks.

They can trap so much heat inside that both the sleeve and insert can suffer heat warping, and by the sounds of your summers, this could be a realistic concern for you.

If anything use plastic bins. They do the job perfectly well, also keep your games out of the sun, and you can even stack them once you begin getting lots of games.

I haven't the insect issue so I keep my games under my bed in the big SNK cardboard boxes I got when I bought dozens of NOS carts last year. They do the job perfectly well.

I keep my carts in Ziploc bags, and try to keep the temperature inside in the 60-80 degrees Fahrenheit range. As for the cases, I just make sure they're out of the sun, and I wipe the tops off with a damp cloth to keep the dust from building up.

If you've got a bad bug problem, you may want to pick up some kind of sealable plastic case.
