I just got my neo geo aes system and was planning on buying the ss games 1-5. My question is I have an american system and I read that the us version doesn't show blood without putting in the chip but will it play blood on the us version with the chip installed or only jap versions? And this is for any game with blood on the system. Thanks

Get ss2 first, I believe it has a blood and fatalities code. Play that one for awhile and then get 1,3,4, and 5. I would probly say that 4 is my least fav by far!
SS1 and 2 are superior in my opinion, though I havent played much of 5.

SS2 has the easiest code for getting blood:

go into options and change language to Japan, then exit

go back into options and switch language back to USA

exit and start your game

serving size is for 1 or 2 players

Thanks guys I didn't know there was a code to get blood in ss2 that rocks! :buttrock:

! Does anybody know if ss1 has a blood code or 3,4,5? I haven't played these on a neo geo aes the only one I played was ss3 on psx. Like I said I'm new to this.

I have a mega neo with debug bios... and I just got SSII today

When set to US the blood is green... but on JP the blood is red... but If I play on JP I can't see the great Engrish into.

Curt, my AES has the debug BIOS too...change the region to US in the debug settings and then use the code I put up earlier...that should get you set up...

Don't listen to these people saying to forget the rest after I and II. That is total BS. SSIII is a totally bad ass game, most don't like it because it is too hard for them. SSIV corrects this problem by making the game a little more managable, while keeping all of the cool new characters, and the new play mechanics. SSIV plays more like a regular fighting game than the other three, but is also a bit more expensive. In short start out with SSII, and see if you like it. If you don't like it, pick up SSIV, and you will be rolling.

Since you're getting them all I would get I,II, and V. They're the best ones to me, then get IV and get III last.

IMO

Get SS2 First as by far the best...Then go with the others in any order...I would get $ before it goes up in price as well. Then get % last because it should drop in porice by then...They are all great but 2 is best...

Go for SS2 first of all - you'll definitely get the most bang for your buck there. Then grab 1, 3, and 4. I can't vouch for 5 since I haven't played it yet.

Out of all of them I like 4 the best. Part II is o.k., but it is insanely difficult. If you have no tolerance when it comes to fighting games, do not buy part II until you get good!

Part 5 is really fun. Highly recommended.

I highly dont recommend SS4.
EIther SS1 or 2 or better yet both.

Get SamSho2 first, course you can get a JPN-Copy for around USD 30,00...
If you can spend more money, around USD 200,00...just buy the 4th Part, cause the Gameplay- and Combo-System is just awesome! It´s the best Part of the whole Series yet. No way to pass!!! :cool:
