After buying some AES stuff, I unexpectedly picked up a consolized 2-slot MVS, so I am going to sell the AES items to focus on MVS carts, as I eventually want to get a cab.
A few of these items haven't arrived yet (denoted by an *), but I should have everything here by Friday at latest. If you're interested in any of the items, I will hold them for you until I get them in and test them. Obviously, I will need the AES to be able to test them, so the same goes for it, even though I do have it. Games which I already have can be shipped immediately. All prices include shipping to the US, and I accept payment by PayPal, certified check or money order.
1. AES console, Japanese, serial number 43,609. Includes original AV cable and a AC adapter (this does not seem to be an original), also will include a new-style joystick controller an NGCD game pad, which needs the microswitches replaced. The AES is cosmetically not in the best condition; there are two long cracks in the left rear of the top case, one running from the back edge of the top cover, above the AV connector, to about an inch behind the cart slot. The second crack runs laterally from the back left corner of the cart slot to the top edge. Both cracks were "repaired" with super glue, from the inside, although there are some beads and a few spots where the glue showed through. Also, there are a number of scratches on the console, mainly on the bottom. Finally, the rubber feet are missing. The lettering on the console is in excellent condition, with little or no fade.
Function-wise, the AES worked perfectly with both games that I tested in it on my Sony TV; on an RCA TV I tried it with, I saw distortion in top inch of so of the screen in Fatal Fury Special during fights, but not at other times, and in KOF 94, after the match was over, the screen blanked for a minute. Since none of this occured on the Sony, I am confident that the problem with the RCA lies with the TV. The system board looks to be in great condition; once I get the Phantom-1 in, I will test it with the AES, which should tell me if the cart slots are tight or loose (the Phantom-1 is an older model, with the black PCB).
Sorry to be so verbose on the details on this, but I want to be as accurate as possible. I am asking $160 for the console with the two controllers.
2. Phantom-1 - this is the older model, with the black PCB. There is a cracked off piece of plastic on one side, but the seller has assured me that it works; I am buying it from a seller on the board. I will test it for function when I get it in either tomorrow or Friday. NO LONGER AVAILABLE
3. The King of Fighters 99 - Japanese AES, in original case with instructions and baggie. Buying from a veteran seller on the board; stated to be in excellent condition. I will test it when I get it to verify function and also condition. SOLD
4. Baseball Stars 2 - Japanese AES, in original case with instructions, no baggie. The case does have some damage, and the manual has writing on the spine. Cart in excellent (--) condition. ON HOLD
5. League Bowling - US AES, in the original case, no manual, bottom case flap has about a 3" tear, tray has damage, and is separated from case. Cart is in very good+ condition. Works fine. ON HOLD
6. The King of Fighters '94 - Japanese AES, excellent to near mint condition, bought from a veteran board seller, in original case and complete with manual and baggie. Worked perfectly in the AES. SOLD
7. Fatal Fury Special - Japanese AES, excellent to near mint condition, bought from board member, in shock box and complete with manual and baggie. Worked perfectly in AES. ON HOLD
PM me if you have any questions.
