We've seen once a Jap RBFF at 512 US Dollars... the auction ended soon.

There are many reasons for that price range. Or the buyer Is misinformed about the real value of that Last Blade, or he may be rich as hell to spend so much on a game like that !:smirk:

when the price of a game starts going for more than my car payment, it's time to rethink my chances of considering it as a purchase...

One of the bidders resides in the United Kingdom where the British pound is very strong over the USD.

I gave the poor dummie a hint that he's paying WAY too much for that game. Told him he could get it for over half that price from here.

But, some people are stupid, I guess.

I purchased a mint US Last Blade 1 in this forum just a few weeks ago for only $300 shipped.

I'm even more glad I did now!

I just noticed

not only is the high bidder bid amount is highest, he also put in another bid to make sure he stays the highest

so this guy is will to pay way over $ 500

also i been selling alot of my aes games lately, a lot of buyers have low feedbacks and are willing to pay high prices, so general trend is AES game prices is being pushed up by newbies :eek_2:

well i dont if this is true for everyone, but it is under my case

I bought a JPN mint AES copy a few years ago for $170. Yeah, I know the US version is more, but even 300 is a bit high.

Well, ebay is the place to pay high prices....or not.

I bought a mint Last Blade JAP AES 2 months ago for $120 off Ebay, guess I was lucky.

You all think of the buyer but I think first of the seller who made a fucking big deal!! Do you imagine, seeing your auction reach the sky through the last minutes to 500$? Wow man that must be simply an amazing feeling.

I paid $60 just a month ago :eek_2: Wasn't mint condition but it certainly was in good/great condition...

Sometimes I really hate eBay. Just because Disgaea for the PS2 is sold out at a few shops, it's now "ULTR@ R@R3!!!" and BIN-prices are at $70 and £60 :very_ang:

How often do you see US Last Blades for sale? Once every 2 months maybe? Therefore 300+ is well justified. Anyone who sells it for less doesn`t know he could fetch far more ...

Back when SNK of America sold home carts on their website (circa late '98-early '99), one of their "red tag clearance" titles was The Last Blade, along with KoF'98. I remember the clearance price was $150.

No way in hell is this game (or the sequel) worth $500. It's good, but not THAT good.:oh_no:

Last Blade 2 US, yes.

Last Blade US, no way for $ 500.00.

Must be a fiending collector there, and perhaps some shill bidding!

If I wanted to, I could but a semi rare cart on ebay, and shill bid myself to $ 1000.00 for it... and drive the cost up. Do that a few times, and all of a sudden, the price guide goes up... making the price permanent for others.
