Broken had a message up saying the SGR may been down permanently

It is a real shame. I believe the message he had on the site for a few days said he may be able to set up a gallery again.

Broken, perhaps you can give us the low down?

Got a message from the SGR man. Seems it will be down indefinitely, but it is all backed up. Galleries will return in the future.

But: "Big time changes."

Basically I took the site down for the time being. It will probably return in the near future (how near is anyones guess).

I am most likely going to be redoing the site and make the layout a little more streamlined and faster loading. I am also hoping to make the gallery updating process a little quicker. What I hope to do is have it where peeps can add their own pictures and captions to their gallery without having to wait on me to get around to it. Dunno about that for sure though.

I backed the entire site up before I pulled the plug on it. If anyone is needing specific pictures or images from someones gallery, just let me know and I will get the pictures over to ya.

It would prolly be easier to create an interface for somebody you can trust to update the gallery for you. The members could just submit all the pics and whatever to that person and they can do all the updates,etc.

sure sucks since i just decided to build my first supergun a few days ago. guess i will have to figure it out some other way.

I found the SGrepository a little while ago myself. It was definitely a great site. One of the few places that brought all the Supergun building info to one spot.
