Just whether you know my conundrum...
Ive got one Neo Geo console which uses the 'Pro Pow' power supply and one that uses the 'Pro Pow 3' power supply.
With the console that uses the 'Pro Pow' power supply, i accidently used the 'Pro Pow 3' power supply for it. I switched on the console and no screen, turned up. I thought it was odd, so checked the power cables and video cables and made sure they were fully plugged, and tried switching it on 5 - 6 times. Soon, i realised my mistake and quickly used the proper power supply.
I did do that and the console loaded up properly.
Now what i want to know, is whether i have damaged the system at all, in the short/ long term, and if a fault does occur due to using improper power supply for the wrong console, how easy is it to fix if a fault arises from it?
thanks for your time.
