It seems now that the Atomiswave is the new home for the Neo........ so is anyone interested in converting the system into a home console?? I'm sure it wouldn't be that much harder than building a consolized MVS system but then again I don't know how or what to do so I'm basically talking outta my ass. If anyone's interested in building one drop me a pm.

Thanks- D@niel

Um... it already comes in that nice red plastic case....

and the games are about the size of N64 games that fit nicely into a square hole on the top. SO there are no exposed PCB parts...

The only thing it lacks is the jamma harness with the controller ports.

So isn't it essentially already a console?

Mmmmk I understand now but I still don't like the fact that the guts and shit of the jamma harness are going to be sticking out I guess I'm gonna have to figure out a way to hide it.

There's already a consolized Atomiswave:

OK, it's quite likely that most games will be coming to PS2 (maybe Xbox in USA) instead.

Now seriously, I just prefer to use a supergun-like set-up, but it would be quite easy to "consolize" it. If you only plan to use the hi-res VGA output, and the stereo hook-up for sound, then you just need the JAMMA harness to give power, and controls.

About the expansion I/O cartridge, I know you can use it for guns, steering wheels and trackballs, but I'm not sure if you can use it for regular controls.

my offer still stands.
the first one to send me an atomiswave system with instructions and (at least) one game will only have to cover my expenses.

Wow, never heard of that... Since I am one of the first European members to get it I am a bit tempted, but I've always been more a fan of superguns.... Oh well, right now I'm not interested, but if I change my mind and nobody has used that offer I'll consider it. Thanks  .
