Needed - NeoGeo CD replacement drive

The drive is burnt out in the one I just got.

Anyone have a replacement laying around?

I might even be able to just swap drives with a cheap Neo CD, I'm not sure.

I'd rather not send this back to Canada, the seller is very reasonable, and seems quite honest.

That's not really helpful... I'm not opening that can of worms again, I have my policy and it stays. If you have a solid rep, we have no problems anyway.

I'm trying to find out if this would work, but a bare CD system would probably be fine as long as it was operational.

You seem to have an unusually high track record of receiving broken goods. I'm beginning to think that someone at your local PO sorting facility has a vendetta against you.

You're probably just better off getting an entirely new system. But then again.. it probably wouldn't be hard to find just a base unit either, considering I've seen people buy them just to keep the controllers then sell the actual unit.

Well thanks to Cappadonna and Spike Spiegal being a couple of lying bitches, it's probably not going to happen.

I was thinking to myself that I have an unusually high track record of receiving broken NeoGeo goods. Never, ever had a problem ordering items from reliable shops for any system. It's just dealing with the individual in Neo goods isn't much fun. Broken items sent out, items broken in shipping, etc...

Need a bare Neo CD system (working) to swap drives with, or a replacement drive.

I'm still trying to find out it a regular Neo CD drive will work.
