First time Neo Geo buyer here

Hey guys,
Finally, a life long dream has come true on Sunday night. i won my Neo Geo AES counsel with 2 controllers for $265. Not a bad deal if you ask me. Unfortunatly, i didnt get any games with it and no stores in my area sell any (used game stores obviously). So what do you guys suggest i should pick up in the $50 price range? I know ive seen Samurai Showdown, World Heros 1&2, Fatal Fury, Magacian Lord go for those prices and ive played those in the arcades, and i was kinda leaning towards SS. Thanks for the input and i cant wait to start playing the games

Thanks man, from the Neo Store? or EBAY prices? Id also love to pick up Sengoku, Ninja Combat, and Super Spy sometime. Those Metal Slug games though...im broke enough from just buying the system but thats half the battle. Unfortunatly the words Neo Geo and cheap dont go together.

I would check out the selling forums. The people there have been great to me, and lately I have not been the best buyer. Had a lot of wierd/bad stuff happen to me lately. And they tend to be good buys also. Also try some small online stores for good prices, it can be risky but if you run them by the people here you aren't too unlikely to get screwed.

THE SUPER SPY! *You just jumped onto my "Cool People List". That game doesn't get much love, it's redundant yeah and could've been better... but it's still the first super powered FPS in my mind even over Wolfenstein. ---Don't worry about the cost of NEO:GEO games though, unless you're going for the NEW releases most of your games can be bought simply by going to the nearest PLASMA DONATION centre by you, walk out with $35.00. Do this three times in a given month you've got $105.00 and all you did was some "Good Will" towards humanity ya' know. ANYHOW, for your Blood Money (kind of puts a new spin on that term doesn't it) you can have the cheaper carts in no time... or go three more times, and within 2 1/2 months time you've got yourself a BRAND NEW AES CART.

...just givin' you some of the pearls from one NEO Head to another. Of course that's the route to take if you just don't want to either spend your hard earned cash from your job, or you're one of the younger members who's allowance isn't too big. If you're not a dope fiend, donate teh plasma and get the NEO Hookage, because with the purchase of that system you just got 16-Bit "Crack" addiction. Welcome to the boards AND the Neo way of life dawg.

haha that was fucking beautiful man. I can tell you right now that my collection is gonna be slow growing because i have one disgusting habbit, Comic books. I love comics and i need to get my comics every Wednesday, its like a crack addiction, you need them every week or you start feeling very cold...soo cold. But thanks for nice intro man, ive actully seen Super Spy at this one used game store for $40. i think i might pick it up...when i get somemoney of course, i doubt its gonna go anywhere. Considering like 10 people in the Rochester, NY area own a Neo Geo.
