I can tell you this right now: if you love teh sam sho seris and it's gameplay than the decision is alot harder. You must also refer to ROTD in many ways as the game system in Matrimelee is similar. if you hate ROTD you may not like this noise offering. Honestly, sam sho 5 is a bit of "more of the same" and if you are looking for something fresh on the neo M is one of the key titles out there. Just the music alone is a huge selling point. The game is like a culmination of new power instinct, ROTD and WW7.
Surprisingly the game wasn't getting much love uppon release. Now many people here are praising it because of it's uniqness.
Honestly man, Play the rom for both to help you with your decision. That what they are for.

Hope this helps.

Dude..

Get Matrimelee in the meantime, then get SS Zero Special later.

Matrimelee is so underrated,it ain't even funny.

If you like WW7 or even RotD,definitely pick this one up.

Matrimelee is fun, but SS5 is better.

However, SS5 will not not work with the MV-1.

Dunno if Matrimelee works with the MV-1.

matrimelee :buttrock:

but then again, so does sam5.

with the recent price drops here at the neostore, you have no excuse not to pick both up! i run them on a mv-1fz with unibios and both work just fine. if you access the ingame menu on matrimelee sometimes the music will go out, but you can reset or wait until the next round and it's all ok.

I just ordered a Matrimelee Kit, this game has so much style. Also, you can't beat the price at the neostore.

Now if I can only find a KOF 2001 MVS Kit I will be set.
Someone snatched it up from the neostore before I could aquire the money for it.

kafuin_gaira did you grab the kof 2001 kit from the neo store a few weeks back?
